I have an anemone n my 55g reef tank.It has been acting wierd over the past few months. It was doing great then it crawled under a rock and hasnt come out for about 2.5 months. My lfs couldnt think of what could be the matter with it.When i came home i saw him and he was transparent and almost no brown.A few days later he was very small(2 in or less)he was about 6 in before he went under the rock. His tentacles were also very purple and his body was white. Please help i dont want him to die.

there was a clarkii clownfish living in it but after the anemone crawled under a rock he started living in a xenia.

"almost no brown" indicates it has bleached for some reason. In that condition it is not likely able to produce enough food. What has it be directly fed?

Anemones may go into hiding for many reasons, water flow, lighting, predators, lack of food, lack of proper substrate, clownfish beating them up, etc., etc.,

At this stage your specimen needs good water, food, and protection or it is toast.

Good luck.
