hey guys, we all know that mounting a tunze stream in your tank is not the easiest thing to do, and if your like me next to impossible in a Aga tank due to the lip, so i was force to lay the tunze pump on a rock, next i tried the "tunze" rock it didnt fit well in my tank, and i didnt like it.
So heres what i did. On Taam rio pumps they have this suction cup backing, it uses 3 1inch suction cups, it clicks into the rio, so i had 3 of these laying around, Bingo, theres enough surface area on this suction cup thing to super glue it to the back of the tunze stream, at first i tought the tunze would be too heavy, or the super glue wouldnt hold, well after 5 days, no moving, no troble on two tunze 6100 pumps, i took the suction cup thingy superglued it to the back of the tunze, let it cure, strenght tested it, and then just stuck it to my tank wall, moved it easily into position, and both have stayed put for 5 days, i will post pics in a few minutes. I got the backing from a Powerhead 402, i used Zap super glue gel, and cured it for 30 minutes.
