Mag rescue attempt

Got a call from my lfs this morning telling me that a mag they had ordered for a local business couldnt be sold to them because it was in bad shape and they were reordering for the customer. I was told if I wanted to try and save it come get it. When I got there it looked bad.
Here it is in the bag at the lfs 20 mins after the truck dropped it off. Btw there were 3 ice packs in the small box with only the nem. The water was freezing!!:uhoh3:

I had to get back to school so the only option I had was to run home quicker than I wanted to temp acclimate it and drop it in a spot in my dt till I could get home tonight. (I was late back to class btw) Here are few pics of it in the dt.

After I got home I grabbed a spare 10 gallon and a few rocks I took out of the dt yesterday while doing maintenance, a air stone, and the two older t8 bulbs I had over my clownfish tank and 10 gallon of water from the dt and made a hospital tank to move it to. I dont think a heater is needed as my room stays warm and the 10 isnt big enough for a powerhead and the nem. Here it is in the ht right after transfer and 250mg of cipro added

Some time during its brief stay in my dt it got tore on something

Any advice other than what I have already done to try and save this large beauty would be greatly welcomed.

Thats the problem I dont have a small one. The smallest i have is for a 55g tank.. It would blow everything away. I do have a small 404 mini jet pump that is attached to a phosoban reactor im not using at the moment. Would it work the same way as the power head?

Could I just block off the corner and set it down in there? It would blow the water up but would at least keep it flowing.

Hard to say at this point but its looking like Jelly which of course is not a good thing. Keep us updated!
It appears to be still structurally sound. Ive moved it twice tonight with a net and its held together. Nothing is coming off off of it. I would still like to know how the tear happened as when i got home the nem was on the bottom of my tank. It seams to still be sticky, as when i tried to get it out of the net into the ht it stuck too it pretty well. I guess only time and hopefully an answered prayer will tell the tale for this poor guy.

I added the 404 and used a piece of plastic canvis to corner it off. I'm off to bed as its 2 am we shall see what the morning holds, It's lights out.

Keep in mind that light breaks down Cipro. This is the reason why Cipro should be added after the water change, then lights out for the night. Good luck!

The light was on for a couple hours after i added it. Should I do wa wc and add more and turn the light back off? Woke up this morning to it in nearly the same condion as last night, It did have a few inflated tentacles.

Flow and temp need to be checked on.

Get some egg crate from home depot/lowes/home improvement store and keep it away from PH.

WC ... Cipro... Lights out.

Good luck. That anemone looks bad. I think you got to have a good heater. None of these cheap heater but a digital heater that keep temp stable within a degree. You got to have circulation and eggcrate to keep the anemone from PH and heater. I use the Finnex temp controler and a Titanium heater. That combination is the most expensive for my treatment tank. It cost more than the rest of the TT (tank, PH and light)
