Majestic angel and luck with reefs?

I have really been looking closely at majestic angels and have been reading quit a bit about them. The colors are outstanding on these fish. I have a 125gal tank and was planning on a mixed reef. Just have a zoa garden and some monti cap right now. I was wondering, and i have read both. Who has had luck with these in their reef? I have heard the zoas for sure would have to go? Thanks.

Each individual angel is different but i would agree the zoas are the most at risk. Angels typically won't eat healthy corals if they are well fed

I agree. And these small or juveniles are great reef fish.

That's what I was thinking getting a adult at either a small of medium size at most

Majestic angels change into adult coloration at a small size (3") or so

I've had majestics a few times. Always ate zooanthids, often bothered clams and LPS, but left SPS and softies alone. Rather like most angels.

I had 2 Majestic in large tanks. One was a model reef citizen for many years. One pick on coral and was removed in 1 week.

Sounds about like most "large" angels. Scanning through post, I just thought I have seen better luck with these reef wise.
