males turning female & females turning male

It's Friday and we all know about this stuff by now, right? :spin2:

Clownfish turn female (poor guys!) and Wrasses turn into males (well.. a lucky FEW do!)

I noticed my Leopard Wrasse is turning male on me ... after being in my aquarium for many years. It appears the change is happening EXTREMELY rapidly.

I wonder what triggered it to grow a pair overnight?

transforming very quickly now... almost overnight

The only thing that I've changed is adjusting the effluent rate on my calcium reactor. I don't believe that's a factor. I think the age of the fish is the reason for the sex change.

I was explaining the sex change in fish to some people and they didn't realize fishes do this too!

I will name him Chaz.
