Man! Not havin a tank SUCKS!!!

I COMPLETELY UNDERSTAND! Im trying to save money right now so that we can build on our land and a tank is money that can go elsewhere right now but it's driving me absolutely crazy! Nearly every day I think, "screw it, I'll just build a small tank".

We all know how that would turn out.
 
The 200 is ordered but it's slightly custom, so I'm not sure about its ETA. worrying about nuking the rock right now. Its literally in a stock bin in the woods behind our new house. All in due time..... at least wheels are in motion....
 
Get yourself all settled in to the new place, then you can focus most of your energies on the new aquarium. Getting pulled in 10 different directions with new house "stuff" would most definitely take the shine off of a new aquarium build, IMO.
 
I know the feeling! I went without a (permanent) marine tank for 3 years before the 360g went live. I would literally sit at my computer and stare at old TOTM photos, or browse tank videos on youtube, for hours on end.

This always happens to me, too. I set up a tiny bitty tank (like a 5g) then upgrade to larger (12g) then larger (20g) then larger (54g) ... damnit! When I move again I am setting up a real tank (>125g)! I've equilibrated at the 54g as the minimum satisfactory tank size to run.

Microsoft has a salt water aquarium screen saver in there XP plus pack lol. It actually looks pretty darn good. Of course you have to buy it because it is a add on pack. And don't laugh I had it on all 4 of my home computers while I was tankless lmao.

I'm not there yet......yet.

I'll be better once the tank comes and I can get to work. But this limbo business blows.
 
That does just- plain -suck. ,geez and ...a... I just bought a todds torch out of the large display tank (one next to that cubetank with the other todds torches in it. Im sure it wasnt yours though because Tim said yours died.
 
Hey, I have a tank full of goldfish, both fancy and not, and I have to say, they are quite awesome. They interact with me, follow me around, and stare at me when I don't pay them enough attention. Plus, I can hand feed them. Simple-yes, dirty fish-most definitely, but I feel totally worth it! :fun4:
 
guess i'm a little jaded about the goldfish...since my son manages to get ever dang ping pong ball in those little bowls at carnivals...i come home with TONS. i grow 'em out in the livingroom bowl and throw them in the pond.

Cully....Jacwil is selling his nano. This might be a good interim investment.....
