Man - Tons of Flow!

i moded 2 1200 maxijets and they were noisy i was told you have to prime them while running i took then out of the water and put them back in they have been quiet for 3 months

I have roughly 32 modded maxi jets in operation and they are silent. They can rattle, when they do, twist the guard on them until they hit the quiet point. Unless they have totally redone something with them im not sure where all the noise is coming from.

I am running one swivel steiner compliments of miwoodard, btw his craftsman on these are impecable!!! I have another waiting to go into the new tank plus the Tunze wavebox. Doing the plumbing tomorrow, so should have water spinning this week. I will update on that flow, 36x36x30. The black props are horrible. They make tons of noise and I couldn't figure out why. I was going to go to the black props and run both steiners, but it was so noisy that I wanted to rip my hair out. So, back to the white prop and things are as quiet as can be and only running one now. Works perfect. Those black props are a joke, they just **** the modded pumps off?
