Mangrove Snapper

Just wondering if anyone has ever kept a mangrove snapper in their aquarium. I'm going to be setting up my 90g within the next couple of months and am thinking about using my current 55g as a huge fuge area. Wondering if I could catch a juve mangrove snapper and put it in the fuge with mangroves and chaeto..

Bad idea? Maybe, but you tell me!

mangroves get big and aggressive, they'll bite you. it hurts. trust me on this one.

And yes, they do bite and it sucks a big one. Just was thinking about a predation biotope in my fuge, thought it might be pretty cool.

Just get a little biscayne bay cuda and put him in there iv have seen alot of 4-5 inchers they are awsome

Cudas are really nervous/shy fish and don't really do well in small tanks (maybe even large tanks). I've seen a few small ones in tanks and they always have a busted mouth from running into the glass.

As for the snapper, they get big and nasty really fast.
