Dunno if this has been posted before, but I found a neat looking video of a lecture on mantis shrimp. Unfortunately I don't have sound at work so I don't know what she is saying, but I bet it's pretty interesting.

Yes, this has been posted here a few times. Still a very interesting video, but i beleive they now think the saddle is not a "spring" in any way.
