Mark's 180 Starfire upgrade

Mark, beautiful tank!

One of my favourites in RC.

The coral collection you have there is amazing!

Do you dose anything else besides bacteria to pop those colours up?

Also, congratulations on the photo skills.
It´s a must for those of us that cannot see the tank in person. :)

Regards,
André

Outstanding, Mark! The pics are great! I especially like the one of the Joculator pair looking in opposite directions - great stuff!

BTW: I wish I had half the color in my corals that you do. :(

Simply WOW Mark..thanks for taking us through that walk down memory lane..I laughed, cried, rejoiced and even felt nauseous at one point..it was an emotional rollercoaster i tell you
But seriously, it's great to see you pull through from that disaster a while back and now be able to enjoy the fruits of your labor..job well done.

Nice progression, Mark. It looks amazing... I think it may need more corals, though lol.

Wow, Thank You for the kind words.

I dose a lot of food. Bacteria and zeo AA is all that I have been dosing for awhile now. I tried to potassium, but since I do frequent water changes, I unded up doing more harm than good.

Thank You, Believe me, I have felt those same feelings and looking through 50 pages of photobucket brought back a lot of memories. I can say that I am glad I went through what I went through and came out on the other side. I have a new found respect for the hard work and dedication it takes for long term success.

So many awesome tanks with active threads on RC right now and this is one of them. When this grows out it's going to be incredible.

Thank you. I am starting to dread the day when the tank will be in full "maintnance mode" as I am already having to pull and move some corals due to over growth.

I'm with Ian on this one...save me a few sticks, hehehehe

The progression posts were fabulous. Mark, you have done so much to get your tank where it is...you are very diligent in your husbandry and your commitment. Through all of the hard times you kept your head up. I respect you soooo much for not caving in. It has given me hope to get my tank, the new one at least, back to where the old one once was.

Dang, Emma is growing up quick :). She is beautiful :D.
