Mark's 180 Starfire upgrade

Owww I love those days. The smell of Acropora, superglue and cuts on your hands, and just as unhappy as when you started... But eventually you will be satisfied. Just have to stop in time and start fresh the next day when things are not working out.
Good luck Mark, looking forward to what you come up with!

Leonardo

Thanks Leo. The smell of acropora is something else :love2 The hands did pretty well yesterday and band saws are great. All I can say is its a lot easier to aquascape a bare canvas rather one with corals. Once there is an idea in my head, its very hard for me be happy (as Brian stated) :p

It does grow on you under VHO's and a nice cup of Italian roast. It's either:

a.) leave it alone and just let it grow in
b.) change it around again
c.) redo the tank completely
d.) sell everything and go back to bora bora

It just looks like the raspeberry sherbert is floating ( and thats a tough thing to accomplish since it 12" across :p ), but by moving the corals around, they should get better flow.

If I move the lime in the sky up any more, it will grow out on the water in 6 months, I had to cut up the cali tort, but I move it more to the left. I will worry about that after I get my box today that I forgot was coming

Hey Mark, nice job... looks good!

One question though, where'd your sunset go? Did you remove it all together, I don't see it in the new layout???

Thanks

Both sunset colonies (6" x 6"+) are in the shallow tank. I need to figure out what I want to them and my 8" colony of Tyree war coral; amongst other corals that I do not know if I have the space for :artist:

That's cool, I have both those pieces as well. Just not quite so large as yours just yet, lol!~ However, I must say they both seem to grow pretty well but thankfully I thought ahead and placed them in seemingly "safe" spots so as not to encroach on other more colorful sticks!

Thats the way to do it. Both of my pieces were basically on rocks of their own so it wan't a tough decision. I'm sure I will put a chunk of each back in and then the rest will hit the classifieds ;)

and if you feel like changing something up just do the other side.:spin1::spin3::spin1:
