Mark's 180 Starfire upgrade

I don't have any open space but your rejects are better than my keepers :lol2:

Looks good Mark, can't wait to see what makes the cut.

Sorry Dan, I don't believe that for one second. I've seen your pictures ;)

Next

Okay i fess up, I've been stealing pictures. My tank only has zoas but coincidentally I think it's now ready for SPS again. :strooper:

Zoas, I have plenty of those if you need some. I really need more space in my shallow tank :fun5:

Nah, I only dare to joke because I am far enough away :hammer:

You may be far geographically, but I'm always glad to have you guy joke around.

I need to start saving, but I want to take a road trip in the spring to come visit with some of the homies.

Tank is coming along very nicely!! Did you get rid of all of the MH's? I noticed you said you have LED's/T-5's or VHO's? Are you changing out any equipment or everything is staying the same, equipment wise? A pair of MP 60's would be cool. :p lol

Glad to see you finally posted a pic Mark! Looks like this round will be a nice renewal for you and hope you start to enjoy the fish and corals once again.

Since everyone else is a jokester, I have tons of open landscape for any rejects you may have :jester: I actually wish I lived closer ;)

What's going on Moses :)

Nope, I still run Radiums, VHO's and LEDS when I'm home for some extra visual stimulation.

MP60's are on the radar, or at least one ;) I have two more MP40's and a battery backup on order since someone decided to use some of my pictures

Thanks Sara. I'm hoping that my ego stays off line and away from all the sites/forums that are promoting hack and pack in the hobby and more in the threads of people who think along the same lines that we do. I wish you lived closer as well; there are some nice snow trails not too far from me in Tahoe; just sayin

Yes Mark, step away from some of the sites and the attached drama with certain threads ;)

So the one time we went to Tahoe for skiing, which was about 11 years ago, we ran into what the locals called Sierra Cement for snow and we had a pretty miserable time with the crappy snow that fell each night. We finally gave up and rented snowmobiles instead and went on a tour there and that is what pulled us back into snowmobiling rather than the downhill skiing that we had done for so long. We had both raced on the downhill Ski Team in college and that is where we met :love2:

Hey, nothing much, just chillen with my nanos. :p

Oh, okay.

Hahaha, nice! IMO, you should do a full Non-Photosynthetic Species only tank! It will require more work/time than your sps reef before tho... :p

Not if done correctly. There are some sweet automated set ups out there that are a breeze to enjoy. I had already thought of that before I decided to restock the 180. I like my fish more than corals

True... Oh, okay. What kind of fish do you plan on stocking the tank with? Mostly Angelfish?

Right now, there are:

4 angelfish
4 wrasse
3 anthia
1 butterfly
1 tang
7 cardinal

Besides that, I'm not really antsy to add anymore at this time :fish2:
