Mark, very nice, How did you get the gutterguard to fit tight like that over the teeth, zipties?? I may be interested in doing the same thing on my tanks.

Mark, it looks great and you didn't have much loss. You are the master reefer around here. Can't wait to see in person.

That is way to kind. There are definitely more experience reefers than me around here. They just lurk though.

man looks like a little more growth and you are going to have to upgrade again....lol nice tank i really want to get a 180 to me it feels big enough but not too big

Mark, any reason why you still have "My tank is too full" under your handle? Time for another upgrade? 36" deep? :D

So far, today is brown day as all my corals are turning brown. I had my lights on last night for about four hours when I was working in the tank and two of my larger pieces looked bleached today.

I did a really strong potassium permagnate dip on all of my monti's two days ago. They looked really bad and today they are not looking much better. I just figured that since I had them out, lets do a dip; better safe than sorry. I have used the stuff before, but not when I was so preoccupied. I put them in the tank last night and I just got done gluing them to the rocks. I know I lost a couple, but oh well.

I also hooked up my Calcium Reactor today. It was very easy to set up. Right now I am not using a PH probe to set the solenoid, just one bubble per second right now. During the move, I seem to misplace my KH test. :(

One thing I have realized now that the new tank is up is that I have too many corals. I thought it was just because they were all in my 90, but no, I have too many corals. Don't worry guys, I did leave some prime realestate for a few special pieces that I have been eye'n for awhile now. :D

Because my tank is still too full. I have lost a couple of pieces, but I will have to be making some tough choices over the next month or two.

I'll move to a 36" tank if you trade in your Mercedes for a Yugo. You might need to upgrade here soon T, your tank is getting pretty full as well, with powerheads that is

Ouch! BTW, I'm going to try and sell my 6060+6080 and replace with a single 6101...

GO BIG-BLOCK POWERHEADS! :D

KH test kit is in the grage next to the frag tank on the coffee table, I saw it.......

That is an the empty box. They were in the little plastic cups on top of all of my kits. I used to test alk everyday, so I did not see any reason to put them away. Hindsight...

Don't you just love it! Maybe, you might have to upgrade one more time. haha?

or

You can always pass them down to me. ;)

For the first time in a long time, I can see my sand. I like the look. I do have my chalices on the sand, but that is it.

I looked out at my softie/QT tank and I have hundreds, if not thousands of dollars of higher end zoas. Why are they still out there? Why are my yumas still out there? It might be because I know that they are OK out there or it might be that maybe they are losing their luster. Maybe I need to thin them out too.

Setting up this tank has allowed me to retool my reef. I like the canyon on the left and the middle and right are conected but with lots of caves shelfs, and ridges, I have a feeling that the right might go canyonesque one of these days as well.

I am pretty excited about my magnificent foxface arrive tomorrow. Since I was getting it shipped, I had Ming throw in a couple pieces I've had my eye on. Did I say my tank is too full? That was my evil twin

I just tested my alk for the first time and with the Elos test kit is was barely starting to change at 8; fully at nine. So, I'll call it 8.3. I turned the bps up on the reactor a tiny smidgin, so I will retest in the morning.

Anyone have any experience with magnificent foxface and nipping. I was reminded today that some like zoas.

I don't know if this is entirely true, I just read it somewhere that some people had problem with foxfaces and zoas.

What's your livestock list now? Going to add anymore?
