Achilles update:
I just got home and he is swimming from side to side and in and out of the caves; it seems like he is very happy. I put in a new sheet of nori and the magnificent and achilles were taking turns :) I am soaking some "special recipe" in garlic extract and zoe as we speak. He will feast tonight :D
 
That's awesome, Mark!

What was your acclimation process for the Achilles? And did you dip him before entry into the display?

30 min of temperature acclimation in the bag and 45 mins of a drip line and in it went :p
 
Jeremy just stopped by to BS a bit. We watched the achilles eat a bit and chase the copperband around for awhile. :)

Thanks for the stock tank, again. Gonna have soooo much fun tonight!

Now for a bit of an update. You may not be getting rid of me after all. Decided a few minutes ago to pull the house off the market and stick around for another year at least.
Now, you know what that means! 250 build here I come!!!!!
Although, the wife made me promise to wait a month before setting it up and ignoring her for awhile again.:rollface:

Heck no! I'd have all you vultures asking for updates, while the wife is in the background saying "Don't even think about it!"
Plus, I've gotta move all my crap out of the way just to get to the tank now. I also need to figure out how to set the system up, as things have changed. I'll likely need to pop a hole through the side of the house and run the plumbing along the side and back into the garage, as that is where I'll keep the frag tank, RDSB/fuge, and soon to be 125g "sump".
I'll put out an APB on all able bodied reefers when it comes time to move the beast.:D

I would trade you for my mother in law any day of the week. Luckily, she will be going back to Santa Rosa tonight :dance:

Just be grateful there isn't a 'Report this post to wife' link next to the report to moderator link on each post! That would prematurely end this hobby for many of us.

Yep, That is one list that I would not want to be one as I share my list with my friends and they share theirs with me :D

I love the little guy pounding the ab, lol..... thats great, heck yea got some in the frezzer right now, come on over any time. just keep me on the A list
