i would hold off adding any fishes as of now until he gets a lot better and less chance of him picking a fight.

Thanks Bart. Since I am not adding any fish, that is why I had the bight idea to re do my QT system. The achilles is still looking stong, between the special recipe, cyclopleeze, artic pods, nori, flake, pellets and tank algae, I think he has his options

If I can find a small yellow coris I will throw it in there, if not, a small 6 line. I have 3 chromis in my current tank. They will brobably go into the 40; who knows, maybe I'll just throw them in the 180 for all the stuff they have been through.

:D ok i take that back, he should be ich free by the end of the week with that variety of diets.

They had a load of yellow coris wrasses at Exotic on Sunday. I almost bought one for my frag tank, but figured I'd just wait for awhile. Bought a HCW instead.

I wonder how much good a UV does. My water is clearer and I think about 30-40% of my drain water goes through the UV. I do need to wash the bulb this weekend and do another wc.

Those are nice. Their eyes are sweet.

Yeah, and they actually had some smaller ones this time.:D

Darn, that stinks as I can not get over there until this weekend :( Oh well, there will be others.

Does the yellow coris wrasse do anything functional? like eat pests?

Yep, so does the radiant and my holy grail :D

is tbone ok today? six line wrasse too

Yep, but I am not a fan of them because they are soooooo mean. You can also throw the 4 line and mystery on the list of great predators.

Six lines are great hunters, but mine chased three different leopards out of my 90 :(

maybe that's why I haven't seen how mean they are - i 've never had any wrasses except for a 6-line.

That's because you're too busy buying tangs to notice how nice all of the other wrasses are.:D

fishes are really weird. i think all fishes are all different, my PBT chase my copperband around for 3 days straight and nearly murdered him, but bounce back and almost heal all the fins damaged by PBT.

Yep. Wrasses are my favorite species of fish; hands down. The achilles is nice, but I like my radiant that I have had for close to 2 years on a different level.

My wifes favorite fish is the copperband. It has a lot of personality and is always checking itself out in the glass.

If you guys haven't already noticed, I love tangs :D
I've always wanted a CBB, too, but can never find one that eats :(

A couple trick to copperbands that I have learned over time. If you have a tank with small feather dusters, it will help them acclimate. I would not recommend gettin one under 2.5-3". I have also heard they like bloodworms until they get to the mysis.
