Yes, nice. Good chatting with you at the swap. I'm hoping to finally get my micro lens this month, so I'd love to take you out to sushi in exchange for a short "best of" lesson, to help me get started down the right path to becoming a padawan coral photographer... ;)

Mark, gorgeous fish. I hope these guys make it for you.

Speaking of your new Gobies, I am thinking of adding a few Orange Spot Gobies to both tanks, I also saw the Pink Spot Gobies in the Reef Fishes book so I am not sure which one would be best. Karl mentioned they, the Orange Spot Gobies, don't throw as much sand around as they stay lower when spitting their load of sand after sifting as opposed to going up high and dropping it all over everything. I am worried a bit though, I have a ton of chalices and favias on the bottom of the tank and I worry the gobies will cover them all up with sand. Your thoughts??

Hello Alicia

As for the pink spotted, I would rather go with an orange spotted and I believe they do a better job in the tank. I have seen some pink spots that find a certain spot and they do not move from that area. I am also looking for a Valencienna wardii, but I have not seen any local in about 9 months. I just do not want to pay shipping on a sand sifter that have only a 50/50 chance of long term success. One of my orange spotted is doin great, but I have never seen the second, so I have basically written that one off :(

As for the Apogon leptacanthus, they were realeased in the tank after the lights went off last night, They instantly schooled high in the water column and the joclulator thought it would be fun to pick at them. Shortly after that, one of the borbonious decided to joing in the fun. I was running out of the house this morning, so I did not really get time to check on them, but I hope all goes well.

No problem Pete, I really have no idea what I am doing, but if you want that knowledge, I will be more than happy to share. You will probably know more than I will as I do not read manuals; I just start taking pictures :)

Thanks Victor. It was pretty unhappy as I had just cut a couple frags and moved it to a new spot, but you get the idea ;)

Do you have a pic of your Ponape Torch?

I picked one up in a side trad at the swap and it is not very impressive right now, but it looks like it has potential.

Thanks

Sorry Chris, I do not. All I can say is that when it is happy it looks amazing and when it does not look amazing, its just another drab coral.

 The tank is looking great Mark. Thanks for the goodies on Saturday.:D

Thanks JT for coming by. I hope you enjoyed Corti Bros. Its one of my favorite places to grab a sandwich.

I am having a difficult time with this whole QT thing :(
I've recently picked up a couple new gems, mostly lps', and I am having a hard time keeping them in QT. You would think that after everything I have been through of late it would be easy, but after getting a couple chalice gems, I want to see them under the radiums.

Solution to your problem!

Stick radiums in your QT tank!

Thats a grand idea, but without the vho's and all the fish and other corals, it just not the same. Besides, I get tired of going out to the garage every 10 minutes :)

These aren't the best best pictures but I wanted to document that all 5 of the cardinals were still alive
