All I can say is Now That is a beautiful setup

Thank You ron86hd, and welcome to my thread :)

So far, both are eating mysis and also nipping at the rocks. There is some "chasing" but its definitely not fighting. The older one will chase the newer one some, but then there are times when they will swim in the same area with no aggression.

Mark, so I'm a little confused. That golden galaxy... it's on the MARS auction?

So when did the "Off the Ladder" become the "Golden Galaxy," seeing as how we auctioned it off as the "Off the Ladder" just a few hours ago? I like your name better, but I'm curious.

Here's the shot of the main Aqualife mother colony I took 2 weeks ago.

Oh Peter. It was in the works way before you went and took that picture ;) In fact; I took it home minutes after you taking that picture and it was in my tank later that same day  Kyle knew all about the name change as he asked me about names the first time as he almost fell "off the ladder" when getting me my original frags a few months back. He then suggested that I change the name when I picked it up, thus the "golden galaxy" I hope this clears it up for you.

Ah, yes, this makes perfect sense! And, as everyone else noticed, my picture sucks compared to the true beauty of this piece. Much better name by the way!

Thanks Peter, and congrats to you and Mike D. Its a stunning piece. The yellow eye guy is pretty nice once it settles in a bit as well.

Mark, what is the lighting setup on your 180?

This was from the day that Jeremy, Jim and I decided that should use the 4th reflector.

extreme005.jpg

I run two 250 watt dual bluewaves, 4 250 watt radiums in 4 lumenarc minis. I aldo have two 160 watt superactinic VHO's ran off an icecap 660.

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhh................good times!:D As long as you don't decide to swap out those reflectors for the elites.......:D I still think you should mount that front VHO to the front canopy panel so it swings up out of the way.
