maroon and long tentacle

i have a maroon clownfish and a long tentacle anemone but the clownfish wont even go near it. do long tentacle normally host maroon clowns and if they do any reason why it wont

I believe the only natural host of the maroon clownfish (Premnas biaculeatus) is the bubble-tip anemone (Entacmaea quadricolor).

Yeah, only E. quadricolor are natural hosts for maroons; however, according to Joyce Wilkerson's book, Clownfishes, in aquaria maroons will go to an LTA (Macrodactyla doreensis).
