Mars Aqua Chinese LED review (Ebay)

So I'm still interested in the cob led style light on eBay. It looks like the kessil ap700 with 3 moons lights in the center. I'd like to get it and replace the 3w night leds with some red and green leds for spectrum but the cob leds look pretty good by themselves. What do you all think about that plan?

They should cover my tank really well. It's 2 cob leds on one unit and my tank is a 20 long with 4 inches of overflow off the left side so I only have 26 inches left to right and 12 front to back.

I'm planning to keep low demand sps corals and a few acropora eventually.

Anyone oppose this idea or have a better one?

I would love for you to get these and check them out! Thing about COBs is they already have the red and green in the diodes. Imagine 10 or so different colors on one pcb/diode.

I would keep the three royal blue/purple diodes as they are, personally.

I thought they were for moon light only and heard on a video they were too bright for that socthought I'd implement them into the spectrum. Maybe do some 10000k leds instead

Figure I would just chime in with the SB Reef lights I decided to go with. Coloring was much better than the black boxes I've seen, but I just can't get over the disco ball effect. I try to ignore it, but once you see it...

Had to chime in and ask you wonderful users of this here LED Light to give me some input on what I would need. I currently have a Ocean Revive Arctici S026 and since they seem to not be making them anymore, was wondering about these MarsAqua fixtures. I am moving my tank from a BioCube 14 to a 40b and would like to know what I would need. What fixture and how many?

Also I've heard of lightly frosted glass diffusing the light and getting rid of the disco effect.

I bought these and am just waiting on delivery. It has a new array of leds vs the original black box's. They're the same as the New Dsuny ones. What do you guys think? I think it's a 20 or so cheaper on ebay but I wanted the security of Amazon.

I like the colors on that light! The app looks nice too. Keep us updated.
