MASC Garage Sale & Swap at Aqua Medic in memory of Don Volak

What time: Setup @ 9am, event from 10am - 5pm

Everyone!! So, to my knowledge this is MASC's, at least in 4 years, first garage sale and swap!!! If you have things piling up in your garage/home (who doesn't) then now is your time to empty out the garage and find those items a new home!!! If you're interested in setting up a table to sell your used items please either confirm through here, or PM one of the BOD members!

As the title states, this will also be a frag swap!! Because there is limited space we are first reaching out to our Platinum sponsors to see who will be selling. I have a couple that I need to just iron out some details with and I will announce them as I finalize things. Once there has been sufficient time for our sponsors to respond we will then be opening up tables for our members to sell off of!! But if you're a member and are interested, now is the time to let the BOD know so that we can add you to the list !! Hopefully there will be some sweet choice frags for you to take home!!!

As always there will be a raffle, and the items will be announced as the date comes closer!! Not only will there be normal raffle items that benefit the club, but we also will be holding a raffle for our fallen comrade Don Volak's family. This raffle WILL include the tank that has been worked on by majicmike, craigar, and martinsreef! We are pre-selling tickets for the tank at $5 per ticket if you are not able to be there. Please PM or get in touch with Adam (amonchak) in order to work that out. All other raffle items will be as normal, $1 per ticket or $20 for 25 tickets.

There are a few items that we are looking for before we look around at rentals:

Folding Chairs
Folding Tables
Canopies for shade

We will also be grilling food for sale, as well as beverages! Bring an appetite!! It's time to try and get people excited about their tanks during the summer!!

NEW RAFFLE ITEM - Flipper Acrylic and Glass Cleaners x3!!!

I know some people LOVE their flipper and I know that some people missed out on the group buy that Don created before he passed away to get a lot of people these Flippers, so now is your chance!! Don't forget we ARE pre-selling tickets for the grand prize 112 gallon reef ready tank!!!

Also, Jgonzz and Reefkoi have said they will be bringing some choice item!! SAVE your money, you're going to need it for this even !

And remember, we are doing this for a great cause. Don meant a lot to a lot of people so we are trying to go all out in his memory!!

Ghosty, if you are registered to MASC's main site www.marinecolordo.org just contact one of the BOD members there and we will arrange for the pre sale of the raffle tickets, amonchak is the BOD member you'll want to contact. For the pre sale tickets they are $5 a ticket. This is for the grand prize of the plug n play 112 gallon tank. It comes with the canopy, stand, lights, and more!!! It's an awesome tank that was put together by some of the guys in the club after Don passed away. We do have a paypal account through the main website and when/if you contact the BOD they will pint you in that direction.

I opted out of naming any certain raffle prizes today, instead to show you all what we've been working on getting for the past few months! The first picture is of the goodie bags !!! The first 24 people that arrive at the frag swap & garage sale will take these with them! They're stuffed with various foods and additives from a couple of different companies. Every bag is a little different, containing a few different products than some of the others! They're also stuffed with some information from some of the great companies that donated to the raffle for Don's family. Not only do you get some goodies as far as additives go, but you also have something to put all your corals in as well!!

Now all the boxes that are sitting in my living room haha!

Now everything together, so far...............

There are still some things that have not been picked up quite yet so we will be adding to the pile!! With the addition of the GRAND PRIZE we are hoping that this will entice you to come down and enjoy the day. We are honoring someone great, that day and in the future, let's make this party kick *** like Done would have wanted!!
