lol...I am a bit behind you guys...will take a couple weeks for permits and I need to move some things around in my tanks...

Permits are being completed for Faith and Jaws and we're getting started on the permit for Humaguy's fish.

Aquaph8 asked for info on the captive bred G. watanabei and I will put something together from my notes to post here.

I'm so looking forward to meeting all of these fish and I can't wait for Fabio to meet Faith. And for Jaws to meet his new girlfriend.

Humaguy- do your fish have names or shall we get started on that? :rollface:

OK...today's going to be the big day!!!

Karen unexpectedly got the permits yesterday afternoon so we are a go! I checked the weather report and it's going to be a couple of degrees cooler today and tomorrow so it looks like a good time to ship. I'm not really worried about the temps here on the west side of LA as it is usually around the low to mid 70's. I will ship Faith with ample oxygenated water and a refrigerated cool pack via FedEx Priority One and Karen will go pick her up at FedEx at the airport so Faith's travel time will be minimal.

Let's all keep our fingers crossed that Faith has a safe journey, but I have faith she will :)

lol...I thought about it but I think if I actually saw her in my display tank, I'm afraid I'd never take her out. Plus I'm pretty sure one of mine is a male. He's definitely the dominate one in my tank and has a lot fewer spots than the other.

It's kinda cool too. In the evening, my actinic T5's turn on and my mh turn off to simulate dusk. When that happens, my pair starts dancing with each. I don't know if they're trying to spawn with each other, but really does look like Interrupta dirty dancing!
 
Faith is on her way and I bet I won't get much sleep tonight as she flies across the Pacific! The permit for Jaws was issued today so he'll be along soon too.

You have all been so great to make this project a reality and I'll give you an update as soon as Faith arrives.
