Awesome news! Wayne, thanks again for all the extra work you did in making this a reality.

Hey everyone,

Just want to give you all a quick update. Faith is home acclimating in the fish room. Wayne did a great job packing her. The water was still clean and cool and Faith was swimming around as if she does this every day!

I don't want to bother her now so I'll try to get some photos later.

She is fantastic looking and the perfect size!:bounce3:

I can't wait to see the pics of Faith in her new home, Karen. I can't take all the credit for packing Faith up. I took her to my lfs called The Aquarium and my friend Angel there packed her up for me with oxygen and bagged her up really well. He used to work at a wholesaler here in LA and one of his main responsibilities were to pack and ship fish, so I knew he was the man for this job.

Good luck Karen and I can't wait to see your pics

Faith is settling in well. :spin3: She is such a mellow angelfish! I thought I would be totaly stressed out being responsible for a lovely fish like this that is owned by so many people but she is making it easy! She only had one little freak out moment when she first got in to her quarantine tank after acclimation. Since then she casually swims around and likes to hang out in one of the openings of her 3 inch pvc T. She tries everything I offer as food but loves those spectrum pellets. and she's such a lady that she won't eat any food off the floor!
I'll be introducing a young clownfish today to keep her company while she's in quarantine. The tank she is in now is difficult for photos and next Thurs I'll move her into an eastablished aquarium for a 30 day chloroquine treatment (just to be safe before introducing her to Fabio). I'll be able to get some photos then.

I know I've said it before but I have to say it again.
YOU ARE ALL AMAZING!!! I never expected anything like this to come from my original question that started this thread and it has all happened so fast! I truly appreciate all that you've done!!

I'm heading out for a water run now and I'll try to get the requested G. watanabei info up here this afternoon.

Thank you

Great news! I think you will find the hardest thing will be putting up with our constant pestering for updates and information. ;-)

Wayne,
Did you take to Fed Ex at airport or distribution center?
Need to do same in a couple weeks.
Thanks,
TK

lol...yeah you have to take it to a distribution center. I took it to my regular office first, but they considered it a hazardous material once they felt all the water sloshing around. I shipped corals and even fish there many times before, but I guess they never realized it since the water volume wasn't that much.

Anyway, they said that only distribution centers can accept packages like that.

Ted - I was successful shipping my Earleis to Wayne from FedEx in Stamford. I know you're far from there but you shouldn't have to go to the airport.

Hey Ken,

Thank you! I have used the Danbury location and it is much closer, so I will probably do that...but I am tempted to hit Bradley Fed Ex to save time.

Any plans for a new tank in the new home?
