i just put a maxijet 900 in my 12gal aqupapod. i just put the one suction cup mount on it and stick it in chamber 4 with the factory tube running to the "y" outlet into the tank. the factory tube isn't kinked but it is bent a little and the whole thing seems kinda cheesy the way it mounts. is this how everyone is mounting them or does someone have any better ideas? thanks

It's pretty much an even swap. Disconnect the rubber tubing from the outlet and lift out the old pump. Disconnect the old pump from the rubber tubing, connect the MJ and let it slide down to the bottom of the chamber; reconnect the tubing to the outlet. You don't need any of the suction cups.
