I had asked if folks wanted to do them as a group thing and received a single reply. We have the choice of doing it at Nooks next Tuesday evening at 8:00PM or doing tham at Daves ( Lost Marbles ) on December 2nd.

Got a preference? How about everyone else?

Oh- next tuesday- my bad- for some reason i thought it might be tonight, thats what i get for reading too quickly. I think Dec 2nd would be the best for me, if i can wait that long. My 75 really needs the extra flow- the anticipation is killing me- i want to try them out so bad.

i put one maxi-1200 high flow in my 75RR and that is the only pump i have in there and it is plenty.

Wow that thing must push a lot of flow.

I had (2) 1500 SIEO and a 850 SIEO in my 90 and felt Like I need at least one more 1500 in there.

Can't wait to get mine together. If it works like everyone is stating might have to add a couple more to the 180.

I have a low flow, a high flow, a Seio 1500 and a hagen 901 and a cut nozzle maxi 1200 and about 600 gph from the sump and I think I could use a little more flow.

where do you have the modded maxi's at? the one high flow 1200 at is at the bottom right side of the tank,pointed up towards the surface in which the surface water agitation is awesome, as well there is no dead spots in the tank what so ever. as well it also has created a spot in whaich there is no sand on the bottom of the tank at the front left bottom corner of the tank and the area were glass is exposed is about 6inch circle or area period where the maxi mod removed the sand and created a pile but it looks good the way it settled. maybe mine is super duper mega superbtastic flow.

Left side of the tank has the Low flow and the Seio 1500, middle of the tank has the cut nozzle maxi on a wavemaker so it alternates direction every few minutes, the right side of the tank has the hagen 901 which pushes 935 gph and the high flow maximod. The sump return has a Hydor rotating device to help break up the flow.
