for a 75 gallon tank to get even good flow you need at least 2 high flows.

if you have just one, then one end of the tank is getting good flow while the other end is getting insufficient flow

not the case in my setup it creates a circle of flow so like i said there are no deadspots and any thing else added will disrupt about 6inches of sand throught the tank.

i hope 2 isn't to many cause i just ordered 2 mj1200's and two high flow kits for my 125 gallon, can't wait till they get here. How long did it take to get them in.

i think flow characteristics will vary tank to tank depending on rockwork and placement- plus id rather have too much than not enough.

You'll be fine. I have 2 of the high flows as well as 2 seio 1500's on my 90 and I even have sand!

i screwed up and ordered four kits for mj1200 high flow, i emailed back asking to fix order so if not fixed i will sell other 2 sets for cost when they come in. or trade for two magnetic fixtures for my 2 mj 1200 mods coming, or even seio mounting parts. I need to get something to mount 2 modded mj1200's cause i don't trust the suctions cups.

as well you never should,especially with what the pump is capable of pushing now.

my mj mods are built and drying going to fire em up tomorrow want to let glue dry fully and cure, plus i need to go get some magnets to make something to mount them on.

going to make some adjustable swivel hinges at work tonight glad to have access to cnc machines,one quick program and and some plastic done.

can't make swivel brackets to risky getting them out of my new job but i did find a good magnet to mount to that is really strong it is twister magnet made by aquarium systems only 12 to 15 bucks and not as big and bulky as mag float.
