MaxiJet sureflow 1600gph?

I got the ecomod last week and I really thought it was going to be more flow. I'm gonna get the gulf stream for the other side of the tank. Thanks to this thread I wouldn't have known of the GSII. Then I'll have two modded 1200's and I'll see the difference between the two mods.

Well I've had mine for about 1 month, I've been upgrading from a 55 to 100g tank, and last night when I was reinstalling my phs all the mounts cracked and I wasn’t being rough or anything. The mod per se is great, amazing flow but the mounts are made of really cheap/weak plastic

check you ecomod for rust. Both of mine are rusting really bad. They should be sending me new shafts next week.

Which ones were they? The GS mounts are way overkill, looks like 1/4" abs (or something).

Just curious in case I decided to try another type.

I'll check on the shaft tonight for rust. I'll let you know. I read about you having rust but I thought it was too soon but maybe I'm wrong we'll see.

You're not talking about the GS mount right? I've both Sureflow and GS2 kits and the GS mount is really solid.

I use superglue-gel-based to glue my accela pump mounting to sureflow holder those that I use for SPS-frag.

It has been running for weeks..

do you mean mj1200? these kits can be used on all mj pumps (400, 600, 900, 1200).

Actually there is or WAS rather. The MJ1000 or MP1000 rather is pre-MJ1200 and have long since been replace with the MJ1200 models. I think it is the same thing as the MJ1200 though.

Can you tell me what the wattage is on that 1000?
