The sureflow and eco are almost identical in flow. The sureflow is a bit wider than the other. Get the sureflo as you get more for your money with the mounting bracket. Both are nice though.

The sureflow's are 19.99. For 14.99, thats pretty good, buy some mags from the site D recommended(which i did) and your set.

can you comment on the eco? is it comparable to the octura 1435? or the dumas 3004? is the prop removable, construction quality etc. im interested in buying some but am finding little reviews on them any comments help thanks

OK Question:I have a Seio 1100 and the brackets suck so I was thinking about using the Sureflo 1600 but :
1. how would the Sureflo 1600 compare in flow vrs the Seio 1100?
2. Would I be better off converting to the MJ 1200 with Sureflo and sell the Seio 1100?

I would think you'd be better off with the sureflow's. There much wider and not as ugly as the seios.

The eco's prop is identical to the sureflow. There not nearly as large as the dumas 3004.. They made the prop tough to remove. I haven't tried it and i have a dumas sitting here but the flow is already plenty for my 125. I have two in my 125 on opposite ends and corners and they are blowing food to the complete opposite side of the tank. I don't need any more flow than that.

I ordered 2 sureflow kits on friday. 1 for a MJ900 and 1 for a MJ1200. They told me that the 900 and 1200 will BOTH push out about 1600gph. I have a feeling its going to be too much for my 75g though. I have lots of softies and LPS, along with SPS and a shallow sandbed. I get some videos up when they come in.

Ultra, the only thing is the kit won't work with a 1200. The grip doesn't work with it. You can put a normal section cup on it and put it sideways on your tank. Thats how one of mine is right now until i get my $10 mags next week.

why wont the sureflow work on the 1200? is it too heavy?

where did you get the magnets? do you have a link?

I was planning on getting the sureflow for my MJ1200 but i want it because i want to get an aftermarket magnet for the mount.
will this work?

It will work but you can't use your suction cup kit on it with the 1200. Go back to the first or second page and look at Dguyan's magnet link's. I'm using the smallest circular one's he linked and they are very strong.

will those magnets that D linked to, hold the seios? Would the rubber coated or epoxy coated be better... also, do you have to order 2 per pump or do they come 2 together... so order 1 per pump...I have 2 1100s and 1 1500 and I do not want to use the suction cups.. I tried a magnet cleaner but it was not strong enough... also tried the hanging mod, but I got the vortex thing... really want to magnet mount them....oh, I have an AGA 180 gallon tank for glass thickness reference...

thanks!

Get the epoxy round one's. I'm using the smaller one's on a 125g 1/2" glass and there easily enough. I have two of the larger one's on the way. I'm sure they will work fine on the seio's. They come 1per so you have to order two. You can't pull them straight apart there so strong.

Thanks... sorry, let me get this straight...they don't come as a pair...when you order 1? you know, 2 to pull apart? So for 3 seios I would need to order a total of 6 magnets???

Thanks!

i just hooked my ecomod up to a mj 600 and i've got it in a 5 gallon bucket mixin up kalkwasser. I've never yad anything with this much flow before! i cant compare it to anything because I've never had anything with this kind of flow, but it's really nice! now I gotta get my timer in, and build the acrylic box and have my wavebox!
