I'm a little confused :hmm4: There is going to be a transfer or perhaps multiple transfers of my frags going on, I get that...just who is involved, I'm not sure of...My son was actually the club member, when I get on the forum, I post using his account (see where the avatar says "actually keaton's mom...brilliant huh?) Anyway, I haven't been to a meeting since I hosted one I think last April. Soooooo, I don't know anyone who is new
And basically I don't know who ANYONE is that want corals so when you use names instead of screen names, well, I just can't keep up, LOL!
I'll start with the corals that folks have inquired about, then if you will confirm I got it right then let me know if I am supposed to take them to Rudolph at his house or meet you at the Saturday swap...that would be great.
mim37204 candycane frag $15
insanityink2 candycane colony $50 (coming Sunday)
jabo orange cap frag $20-30
pensfan05 "all three" I think this means:
orange cap $20-30
green cap $20-30
blue tort $25
bracket50 hairy mushroom(s) do you want both? $20 each
two heads candycane (actually the frags have 3 heads, okay?) $15
green cap $20-30
orange cap $20-30
Did I get everyone? Anyone else want anything?
I do have another sps I need to frag. I don't know what it is, it was given to Keaton as a "mystery coral". Since then it has been tentatively identified as perhaps a green slimer (??) or miami orchid (??) The base or old growth has gradually turned grass green over time, the tips are pale blue and the inbetween is sort of brownish. The fool thing has shot up a long branch that is breaking the water :eek2: YIKES! That branch can be fragged if anyone is interested. If several are, I'd take $15 per piece to break the branch into sections.
Thinking about breaking that branch into segments, I'm remembering I saw a clip on the news about establishing a new reef and the scientists were laying the frags on their sides to mount them onto rocks...I think that is really brilliant because it seems like the coral starts out with a more solid base since its able to encrust along the length of the frag. Rather than a big colony growing from a spindly tip...I have a mille that broke off from the weight of the colony...I laid the colony on a rock and it encrusted like mad. Now it's solid as a rock. Just throwing it out there.
