May Meeting will be at my house in Spring Hill off 19 behind Home Depot

Saturday May 3rd at 2:00pm

Lets see if we can have a topic and/or a guest speaker

And let see if we can get people to show up. :D :p :D

PM for address phone and directions

Paul,

As of now I am free that day and plan on coming. Please PM me your address and phone number. Also, I will try and remember to bring you a frag of the green cap (maybe trade for a frag of your purple cap?).

Jim

I can do a class on how I culture Phytoplankton. If everyone brought 2 8oz water bottles I could give a starter bit of phyto and some fertilizer..

What do you think?

I well try to make the meeting. Last meeting I had to look at a house, I got out bid.
Steve

Great...cause a meeting without Ted OR Steve just seemed weird! lol

No shizbit! No Ted, No Steve, wierd Anchor : )

We did ok without you guys though. It would be nice if some of the newer reefers could come.

Sorry you lost your bid on the house Steve. The right one will come.

I'll be there Paul and would love to learn to culture phytoplanton for my little marine family. Steve, if you can bring the gsp there, it would be great. the tank is finding its happy place : )

Also, Steve, I need you to look at a boo-boo I did to my minivan, if you would ; )

What can I bring Paul?

Diane

So thats it? 4 people?? What's up with all of the new people???

Oh well, we'll have a good time as usuall

Paul , I know there are a lot of reefers in the area , and I can't understand why they don't want to come to our meetings . We welcome everyone , and we always have a good time . Ted

Steve,

Good idea. What time do you want me to pick you up?

Ted - I will send a PM to a couple of people I have met that came to get shrimp/urchins. But tried to get them here for the April meeting with no luck. Don't know what to do to get more people to come - guess we need some gimmick - FREE FRAGS TO THE FIRST 100 GUESTS (oh wait, guess that really is already available to anyone that shows up).

Jim

Guys, I wanted to come to your last meeting but it was a little early and had to do water changes that morning. Now I can't make this meeting today because it is my husbands birthday and my daughter is cooking dinner for us over her house (I supply the b-cake).
I want to meet everybody. Especially be able to talk to Diane again and give Steven his gorgonian frag I owe him...
Can we possibly combine our meetings together in June since I do not have a host for June? Who there would be willing to do that?
Sue

Ted/Steve/Diane - would you guys mind bringing your refractometers to the meeting today - I want to check my salinity using someone elses meter. What has me concerned is that with mine, the Gulf water always tests around 1.03 regardless of how far out / how deep I get it. So I always dilute it with ro/di water - want to make sure I am not accidentally keeping my tank at too low a salinity.

Thanks,
Jim

Steve,
If you host, what time of the day will it be? Our club balks at the 2pm and likes the 4-6 better. Let me know since you are willing to host.
Sue

Great Meeting!

Great Meeting!

Paul, Ted, Steve & Jim - and Debbie and kids --

GREAT meeting. Thanks for the hospitality and the diy phytoplankton farm class, as well as the materials to do it!

Thanks for the frags!

Thanks for the cameraderie.

I learn several things at each of our meetings and sincerely appreciate the skills, opinions and experience that everyone brings to our ANCHOR club.

Again, again, again, if there is anything I can do for any of you, please lmk.

Diane

Thanks Paul for host the meeting and the lesson on growing phytoplankton.
