May's nTOTM Thread- sjfishguy's SPS dominated 30 cube

Sorry for the delay, this thread kinda got away from me. But here is a pic of the 58 from like a month ago. You can see its all the coral and rocks from my 30 stretched out. It has 6X39W ATI T5s over it.

Thanks for the compliments. I still have the same 58 and here is what it looked like a couple months ago. Sorry for the crappy iphone pic

That is awesome. Your nano was one of the 2 that made me want to give a nano a go. Lunchbuckets was the other. Mine is only up for a couple of months and so far it's maddening with all my little issues. It's nice to see that is still looking good.

Wow, what a compliment. Of all the great tanks on here, I am glad mine inspired someone. It definitely is tougher in a nano, one little thing goes wrong and you have a mess on your hands. The bigger tanks can handle the bumps along the way so much better.

Your not kidding. I find myself tinkering with mine a little too much. I gotta learn to be less handsy.

So I moved to Florida for work and had to break the tank up and sell it off. I sold the tank as a complete setup to a guy in my local reef club and parted out the livestock. I am trying to set up a tank down here (since I can just take my boat out the reef and collect myself), but haven't had time yet with work. Thanks for all the compliments!

That's legal?

Sure is. All you need is a flordia fishing license and can keep 20 items per day. No hard corals, no rock, certain species prohibited, and there are sizes on certain things.

Sorry guys, still not tank. Traveling too much for work to take care of tank right now. I plan on buying a new place in the next few months, so once I move in there, an all locally caught tank is going up! I have been seeing French Angels, cardinalfish, jawfish, lionfish, puffers, all kind of stuff in my lagoon in the backyard. Makes me mad I don't have a tank to throw them in!

If I had a lagoon in the back yard, I would never go through the $$$ and headache of setting up a tank and maintaining again.

Its still not the same as looking at them all in one place in your living room :) When I say I see all that stuff, its over weeks, never at the same time.
