What emitters are you using daplatapus?
There's a mix in there. Cree 3W 3-up stars (so 2 RB's and 1 NW), Cree 3W XT-E RB's, Cree XM-L NW's (not lit in the photo), Cree XM-L CW's (not lit in the photo), Exotic 3W OCW 3-up, Exotic 3W TV 405nm and Exotic 3W TV 430nm.
All the Exotic and Cree XT-E's are driven off of LDD-1000 and LDD-700's mounted on the boards you drew up (Thanks a ton for that!) and the XM-L's will be driven with HLG-185H-42B drivers that are also PWM controlled. I just haven't got any of that side hooked up yet.

LOL ya, it's been one of them catch all's. Already been ribbed on my local forum about the hammer too

What are you guys/gals using for connectors between your LDD's and light fixtures if they're a ways away from each other?
Each of my fixtures will be running 22 wires I think. I've been thinking of soldering on a DB9 connector to my boards (and not using the one pin) and running a few of those. Any other thoughts?

I've installed everything into standard Coralife fixture, please see pictures.
From ebay they have a great connectors, try to search "Aviation Plug"

Seller says these connectors support up to 5A, that what we need for LEDs.
I'm using them to power up the fixture(4A 36V)

I was planning on the same thing. Bought some DB15 connectors. Trying to find a good place for 20ga wire in multiple colors. I want to make the wires about 8 feet long just to be on the safe side.

5A probably for all pins?
sickness of each pin = 1mm. For wire 1mm it may work but not for connector.
Actually, they are saying: Contact Finish-Gold
To test it -power up and connect-disconnect several times planted gold will be damaged and it will be just a matter of time when instead of connector we will have a heater.
Gold is good, but would prefer sick connector: old fashion way in this case better.
I plan on running 10 RB LED's that are in series. 3.5V =35v and I want to run them at 1 amp I was thinking of using a notebook power supply 36v or 38v @1amp or 1.5Amp but not having a lot of luck in finding one that wasn't $30 to $40. anyone have a cheap place to buy them none of the second hand stores have them around here.
I've never seen a "note book" power supply rated for that high of a voltage. If they do indeed exist, chances are good that you'll find'em on Fleabay.
My best score ever was when I won (5) 24V/5A MeanWell laptop power supplies for $7 plus free shipping LoL!

The LDDs need about 3 volts above the Vf of the string. If your string needs 35.0V, you need a power supply that puts out at least 38V, more is OK but less than 38V will not work. My largest PS of that type came from an HP printer, it's 31.5V, 3.17A, most of the others I've used were 18-24V.
My DT is running on a Mean Well SP-200-48 that I got on ebay, IIRC the shipping cost more than the winning bid and the whole thing was under $25. I'd suggest you keep your options open and keep looking, there are some good deals out there.
