she's swimming all over the tank and already eating. :)

thanks! hard to get a good picture because she won't stop moving. i can see why she is plump, she is a voracious eater...fits right in with the rest of my animals. :D

LOL! and she's out this morning, begging for phood before i could even have one cup of coffee!

she seems to take much delight in playing in the bubbles from the air stone. she swims into the stream, lets it take her up to the top. rinse and repeat.

no kidding, stacy! they are such graceful swimmers and their colors are amazing! i gotta take stock and see how many more fish i can comfortably add to this tank. i need still need something YELLOW.

i've looked at both of those. LA says the yellow wrasse is questionable as far as reef-safe. hrrmmm...

i already have an orange spotted goby so i don't think i could do the yellow guy. my sand bed probably isn't deep enough for anything that needs to be able to dive 'n' hide.

That's a beautiful fish! Also, I wouldn't worry too much about the yellow wrasse if you do decide to look into one. I've had wrasses of the same genus and plan to get a yellow wrasse for my new 90 gallon reef. My other Halichoeres wrasse would only put inverts in danger if they were already flipped over, which my wrasse would look at couriously, every once in awhile flipping them, before continuing on it's way. It would never intentionally hunt any snails or other inverts, just swim around and inspect them before swimming off.

hmm, interesting. thanks for your input, tj. i'll have to do some more reading.
