I'll pick up an Emerald Crab for y'all. :)

Nah, don't risk your corals. Just use a hypodermic needle and inject them with kalk slurry. If you suck a little fluid out of them first, nothing gets released into the tank and then they just melt over a couple of days.

Those gobies you have seem so neat. Are they very personable?
Can you give me some more information on your "collection trip to the Gulf"?

thanks

Yet another project never completed. I started a thread about the collection trip on DFWMAS and posted about half of my pictures. I need to get that done too. Ugh. We drove down to Port Aransas down near the Gulf of Mexico, and fished out all kinds of stuff from the shallow waters and the one-mile jetty.

These little guys are not afraid at all, and will get right in between the scraper and the glass when I'm chipping off coralline. I worry about squishing them. They perch as you can see, and zip about when food hits the water.

wow whut a great thread probly a dumb question but how do you get such great photos,i have a nikon d80 and my photos are crap compaired to yours any how thanks for a great read

If you go to my site and click on the Fotos button, the default article is how I take pictures. And in the left column I have a link showing how I clean up my images in Photoshop. Both will help I'm sure.

Here's a picture right out of a Sony pocket camera that I took recently:

And after adjusting levels in Photoshop 7:

Marc, what's up?!

I started a design last year and shelfed it for other things. However, I started it back up and I hope to have water in it tomorrow.

Check it out: 15 Gallon . . . da Artsy-Cube

I wish I had skills at building acrylic, but I just can't glue that stuff without making a mess.

Your tank looks nice.

I got my mini carpets when I visited Rochester, NY last year. They really should have split several times now so I could share them with the locals, but for some reason they have not. I gave one to a member of DFWMAS, and I still have three right now. I've never seen them online, sorry.

Cerreta - where've you been? Be sure to send me a link to your new tank. It sounds interesting. At the very least, attach a picture.

I'm also interested in seeing this new tank design.

Melev-
When are your IKEA rods going to be put into action?

I'll try to get to that later this week. I just need to get some overdue projects done for people waiting currently.

hey whats the deal with the mini carpet anemones? do they grow into the large one's? I have a 12 gallon AP and want some anemones so bad! would the type you have work?

They stay tiny forever, maybe 1.5" in size maximum. They are very sticky to the touch, and fish can be harmed, as I posted above.

Just keep in mind that coke is only good with Crown Royal.

That might be one of the greatest quotes I've heard on this site!
