Aloha all, Well just great. I bought a so called fighting conch from my lfs and low and behold, it has eaten 13 snails. I was blaming the red scarlet hermits but then actually witeness the murder and ingestion. I was ticked off to say the least. I had just bought some new snails to replace the eaten ones and within two minutes the monster eat two of them right in front of me. Back to store for this Jack the Ripper. Just venting about the lfs. Mahalo Jack

Heh, one of the pitfalls of using common names I guess. Everyone is eventually going to figure out that Crown Conchs aren't conchs!

same thing happend to me last week. lucky for me that i noticed the first time it tried to eat a snail and i yanked it off!!! im really upset at the petshop owner because i got him together with 10 other snails and she put them all together in the bag and had no idea what she was selling me.
