Mg level in an anemone tank

I wouldn't think so, but I have never had mine at that level -- mainly due to laziness. As of yesterday (( did a bunch of tests )), my levels were at 1350, and the anemones were looking good. Might (( for the heck of it )) try to get the levels a bit higher.

Thanks guys, just wonder why they look unhappy, lighting is ok,they are at the bottom of my tank. Running MH 250 watt for a 31 inch height of the tank. It seems like my gig did not make it and the haddoni is on its way out, possibly too much dosing with two part solution, too much inconsistency with the water parameters, not sure?

How long have you had them?

What size tank?

What are your parameters?

Just one MH?

What is all in the tank?

And anything else you can think of.

its a 225,with two sumps, one 58 gallon oceanic with plenum and the other,a 40 gallon with the skimmer,pH is 8.2,mg at 1500,alk at 9 and Ca at 460. PO4 at .1 and Lighting is 2 x 250 wtt MH with T5s,a current fixture and the other side has a SE MH at 250 also. I had the gig and haddoni for two to three months now and doing well in my fuge with pc lighting but when transported to DT,they lived for a few weeks and just did not thrive at all. Any clue Toddtrex, cant figure it out?

If they were doing fine in the fuge -- which has the same water as the DT -- but started to go downhill when moved to the DT, it has to be one of 2 things. 1) they weren't acclimated to the increased lights levels 2) some fish was picking on them.
