Mhucasey's SPS obsession

There are 20drops per mL, I weighed the NP pro and it weighs 0.048g per drop(Close enough to the standard of 0.050g/drop for water)
So for a 50ML bottle there are 1000drops.

2L of NP Pro for dosing pumps at 5ml/100L dose volume has 400 doses.

So unless Im missing something you need 20mL concentrated NP Pro mixed into 2L of DI water.
+1 that's what I got.

Matt what test kit are you using for K?

How's it going Matt? I went back through the last 100pgs looking for the link you had for thick gel glue. Any help finding the link would be great. Thanks!

Im going to be picking up some np pro today. Is it better to run it on a dosing pump?

I don't think it's better other than it ensures the dose is at the same time each day and you don't have to do it manually. I had three spare dosing pumps so it was easy to set up.

Do you know the name of this coral? I got one that is very similar recently, but the shop didn't give any info on it, other than an aussie frag.

It was sold to me as an Aussie frag, blue Bomber or Blue Monster or some such nonsense. It is a Granulosa I think, but im terrible with specific species ids. Maybe Kevin will know.

Man.. I blink and I miss 3 pages!
Matt that Bali shortcake is calling to me. Love it.
Looking great in general. I see you are in one serious sps collection spree!!
I LIKE it!!
The new potassium test kit is in all retail stores in Canada now. I'm surprised it hasn't hit the is yet..

The Bali shortcake is pretty sweet!:) The Salifert kit may have arrived, I just haven't looked yet.

Matt did you post a pic of that Bali shortcake in another thread talking about the camera gels? Forgot which thread..

I posted a different picture in Urbaneks thread, before that I don't know. I think the Bali Shortcake pics have all been in this thread.

A little update on the Aquaforest All-In-One setup. I have backed off on a lot of the testing but I did perform a PO4 test and the result was 0.04ppm, just about perfect.

Now if I can get "Sahin's magic Beans" to do something to lower Nitrates...Its been over 90 days since I added Siporax, no real change. I added 2 L of Matrix stones to the sump a week ago- total volume of media now is 5.5L between Siporax, Matix, and Eheim sintered glass media.

It's always good to meet local reefers with the same addiction :) and thanks for the referral to Dr Coufal , I see him tomorrow morning

Looking good! Following since I am also using some of the same metals and such to get a nice color. Also have a few of the same corals from the same place and love them so far. So far I have noticed the change in color only on new growth of corals and it seems to help the acros flourese more with a different shene to them. Also almost all the small patches of cyano are gone, I think I read it helps there too. How much and what carbon sources are you using? Sorry if it was posted recently.

All the corals look great, love the top downs, but this one. This one. This one.

Can't think of anything else to say. :)

Awesome! My wife goes for her Post-OP follow up tomorrow afternoon - so far her back is much better than after her previous surgery. Her nerve pain is significantly reduced, she is very happy with him:)

Thanks! I'm using the Aquaforest system, dosing NP Pro carbon source. I was dosing the concentrated form, 10 drops per day, now I have it on the doser, 45mL per day.
