might be a stupid question about red bugs

So Ive read that red bugs only attack acropora species...so does that mean it will leave the green slimer, purple monster, cali torts(acropora?) efflos alone? It seems to be only on the frag taht I know is a acro for sure. Thanks

All those that are listed are acro's.

i have heard they don't bother green slimers, but that is anecdotal. and yes, everything you listed is acropora sp.

Yep...and they will get on anything... not sure about the green slimer, but twon is a reputable source so I would trust em....

like i said, i heard that, i have also hear they don't infest milli's, but...

my advice is set up a hospital tank for a few days and treat all your acros in there for 5 days and from here on out, nothing in without a dip/quarantine. that is my plan

the reason they dont infest milis is because most are hairy and the polyps willl eat the red bugs that is why you always see the scurying around dodging the polyps on ur acros so they dont get eaton

A good point! All 4 of my Milli's were not touched.
