Mimic tang compared to other tangs

I am setting up a 145 gallon reef tank and I am looking for a suitable tang. Liveaquaria says a 70 gallon tank is large enough for a mimic tang.

1) Does anyone with firsthand mimic tang experience agree that a 70 gal is large enough for this fish?

2) Does anyone with firsthand experience feel that mimic tangs are less active than other tangs (powder blues for example)?

Thanks.

Most definitely they are. I have one in my 65 and it is thriving and happy. They don't seem to need the "drag strip" that most others do.

Nanoreef, the activity level of the fish is what I was getting at. Do you have first hand experience with the mimic tang?
