Mindstream Aquarium Monitoring System

So $1,000 plus a $35 monthly subscription fee...

And it looks like the dropped the nitrate and nitrite monitoring...

If all 10 parameters work is a great deal.

There is nothing in the market that can do this at this price range.

This is still expensive...

$1,000 plus another $420 a year for it to work.

And don't the slides need to be changed every month at another additional cost?

I will be watching this thread with great anticipation.
I have to admit there are either some very wealthy souls on this forum or very brave souls to be dishing out this kind of money with only the tiny bit of info that has been given. These disks must be something completely new. They seem to work like color strips but they last for a full month:uhoh3:

If this really works it's going to be like the first flip phone. Super convenient and the price will keep dropping year after year. The current price is way too rich for my blood. Scraping together the $1000 is doable but the $420 each year for subscription is way out of my league. I also need Nitrate if this is going to be a device that lets me know everything I need to know.

I am dying for the first review video. Lots of questions need answering.
Does the accuracy drop off after a few days or does it hold all the way until the month is over. How accurate is it in all the different areas?

Cant wait to find out.

I have been researching the hell out of this for the last two days and I am really impressed! I also started to crunch some numbers on using my test kits and probe replacement like Salinity, pH and Oxygen and how much do a spend on them per year. I came to the conclusion that the price for the mindstream is certainly more expensive than testing twice a week like I do now, but it is much closer if I was to do daily testing and its a better deal than doing testing two to three times a day and if I look at it from the point of tests happening every 15 minutes. It's insanely cheaper at that point!

So I have joined the very brave souls club and ordered one. After the research I no longer feel like it's so much about being brave in terms of it working or being accurate but I do worry about the dependency on the company to make money and stay alive in order for my system to keep working.

Thanks for the welcome.

I am also on an 8-10 week wait period. I guess we can pray for something faster to happen but if not it's going to be a long two months.
