Misled's 80 gallon Mixed Up Deep Blue Rimless Edge Lagoon

Completely agree Jesse!

20 years ago when I started this journey, even without corals I never had the problems I'm having now starting with dry dead rock.

I also miss the microfauna you used to see when starting with actual LR.

Ooooh, fancy! What all are you going to control with it?

Not much from the beginning. My temp is run by a Ranco. Have a different ATO. I'm gonna start with my kalk reactor, but add my cal/rx later. It will be nice to monitor things from an ipad though. As the tank matures, I'll start adding though. Maybe I can get it to control my wife.

His speakers....lol

Don't make me come over there!!!!

So, I knew there was some kind of shrimp in the tub. I saw some of it today.

I'm gonna put a trap in the tub for now. Although I may keep him. I had an ugly gray one I kept in a 5 gallon for about 5 years. He was great to watch, but without color, it was ugly. We'll see.

Pretty sure you have a wennerae if it came from the rock I sent you....they change colors....usually start out drab army green.....then turn red......then a light lime green color after a while in the tank..color depends on lighting.....pretty cool critters...

Had to. Only thing the rock I had had was pods that I introduced to it. I'll look him up Thanks again!!! :)

So I know it's been a while, but life always gets in the way. No pics of the tank yet, but things are running pretty well. There were a few frags in it, and a few weeks back, things started disappearing. I knew about the mantis, but I didn't think him capable of the damage. I was right.
