missing clownie

do smasher type mantis eat clowns,i do have a huge mushroom,noticed clown was missing,then i saw the sroom all balled up like when they eat fish,so i was hearing clicks too,but i think its my heaters,no smashed shells,i heard smashers eat snails crabs ect, do they eat clownfish or was it the mushroom

Smasher types also have spears at the end of thier club and are definitly known to take down fish, so im leaning towards the mantis killing your clown

do you know if you even have a mantis in there? what kind of shroom do you have?

if your snails and hermits are untouched, i highly doubt you have a mantis. They would almost certainly prefer to pick off snails and hermits before a fish of any kind.

i have an umbrella discosoma neglecta 4 inches,it can def. eat a clown,no smashed snails or dead shrimp or snails,think it was the shroom,ive seen a pic of the shroom doing this,i do hear clicks but only one at a time,the heaters do click and i have 2 of them,and ive searched a ton ,no mantis??
