Missing potter's wrasse

Yesterday I was trying to catch a damsel and I think I stressed out my Potter's wrasse. I saw him swimming around and then he was gone. I checked everywhere and I am pretty sure he didn't jump. However, he never came out. Do wrasse hide for days at a time?

Our yellow coris hid for a month & just recently came out. I think he must have hit the lights jumping out of the water.

I have had a few different wrasse hide for days at a time. Once I had one hide for a little over a week.

My timor wrasse hid for two weeks straight before showing himself. im now 3 weeks into having him and he still only comes out to eat every 48 hours or so.

But I have a yellow tang that I can't catch that bullies him the entire time he is out so thats probably why he hides so much.

I would recommend waiting it out. whatever you do don't go digging him up. it will just stress him more.

I had a Potters hide for three dayswhen i had my fish trap in the water to catch a tang. He emerged looking fine.

Still no sign of him... I was loosing hope but maybe still a chance.
