I just came across a 50lb bag of mississippi lime VitaCal H Food grade calcium Hydroxide that meets the 5th edition of the food chemical codex spec. this is kalkwasser right

Yes, that product should be okay, since it's food grade. Can you post a link? I'm always a bit worried about additives that might be in food products, although that's a little excessive.
