Yeah you had to see em at the store, bland beige/brown with stripes (almost walked right by, thought it was just a piece of live rock at first).
They're a bit washed out in the picture, but I expect they'll look a lot better in a few weeks. Plus how can you turn down a nice big colony for less than a buck a polyp?
I had an acan like this one and after six moths of 150 W HQI it became red (very very red) and another became very green with red stripes so maybe you will get surprised.

i just bought one and it is a pretty green with a hint of orange in it. just don't know if i need less light or more?
btw that looks like it will be a beautiful piece.
