Thanks guys. I'll take some pics of the SPS when they color up. Right now they're looking kinda meh

Looking good Tran. Thanks for stopping by a few weeks ago. Hope the vivids and sunny D's are doing good.

Tran - I see you used Marco Rocks - Were you concerned about phosphate leeching from the dry rock? I've heard other reefers on RC encountered what seemed to be some phosphates bound up in the Marco Rock.

Maybe you just have enough filtration where it wasn't an issue....

Not to speak for Tran, but, I used EcoRox(BRS) and they are virtually the same as Marco Rocks and I didn't have any leaching either.

That is good to know - I'm about to reboot my tank using either EcoRox or Marco Rocks and didn't want to end up in the same boat I am now with phosphate driven nuisance algae.

I used marco rocks also and no issues at all. I have a lot of friends that have used then and they did not have any leaching either.

Sorry Tran, hehe...

Follow either sites directions and you'll be good to go. It defintely take a little longer, but, well worth it, IMO.

Sorry for the hi-jack, Tran.

Hi Aaron,

I guess I'm overdue for an update. :P The tank has been setting idle for a few months now. I've been busy with work and getting ready for a new baby that's on the way. The bio-pellets are working out really well. My nutrient levels are quite low and things are starting to color up. I'll take some pictures this weekend and post them.

Thanks for stopping by

wow that's good to hear Tran. Been following your tank because it's exactly what i'm trying to do on the rebuild and you pulled it off so well. Congrats on the kid! Post pics when you can.

Thanks a bunch Aaron. Here are some pics of the new frags I got this weekend.
