DT's_Reef- I don't like the way they look on the sides. I also have 2 on the back. I wouldn't worry too much about the noise.I noticed if you keep them really clean they're pretty quiet.

I had a first generation mp40 and it was very loud, despite being new and carefully aligned, etc. I had to get rid of it even though I loved how it worked. You weren't able to watch television or have a regular conversation without being acutely aware of the noise.

I need to see one in person, locally, and if it's quiet enough then I'll buy it again. Thanks.

Sorry for the blurry fishes, but I had to use a long shuttertime on the camera to get the colors of the corals.

The displaytank is 180gallons. No, this trigger eats mainly zooplancton in nature so it is not a nipper.
