Hey Mojo, sounds like you are going to have a great setup!
How long did the tank build take at Miralces? Just wondering what the build time is as I just ordered a 48x36x30 yesterday from Derek at Miracles. Derek said somewhere around 5 - 6 weeks or so....My last tank was built by Miracles and they do excellent work! You will love it!

If you mean a Penductor for extra flow, I tried one with my Iwaki 40 RLT and It caused the water to overflow the rim of the tank If pointed towards the top or a sandstorm pointed to the bottom or anywhere In between It just was to much direct flow. 36x24x16 so close In size and had the pump valved 1/2 off I finally took It off and split the return In two and It works better this way. JMO
Nice build so far, Hope you get your tank so you can get cranken It up ASAP.

Well talked to Miracles again today and it has not shipped yet. The LAdy on the phone told me it was crated up sitting there ready to go. And they were coming tonight.
Not a huge issue but this is really similar to what I was told last week. After speaking with Derek yesterday I put in for vacation next week so I can get this up and going.
Getting married on ST patty's day then building new tank for my honeymoon. lol.

Well For a skimmer I currently have a euroreef 6-2+ that uses a sedra 5000 on my 57g and it will work on the other tank. But I also picked up a WM s200 body to play around with. I may just run it stock for now. But I just purchased a sedra 9000 to go on it but I plan on modding the pump quite a bit. Using my own venturi, Modding the output of the pump to 1 in rather than 3/4 and a couple other things. Should really boost some performance of the pump. And if I get board ill cut the bottom of the skimmer off and put the pump on the inside. idk, just a toy to play with. Hoping to get about 1200 lph and move a rally good amount of water through the skimmer.
