Monti bleaching? Need advice...

I have a purple Montipora Mollis frag that has been growing well over the last couple months. I picked up a new maricultured piece from Live Aquaria DD (Acro cerealis) and it accidentally fell over on the Monti. Was probably leaning against it for 8 hours or so. The monti had a small white patch where the acro was leaning against it and over the last few days has gotten bigger and bigger (see pic). Any ideas what might be going on with it? Is it doomed? Did the acro pretty much kill it? Thanks for your help!

Thanks. I fragged...got about 1/4" of good coral off it...good thing it's a fast grower. Do you know how/why it spreads like that?

sometimes when a coral gets stung by another coral its like venom, it spreads quickly for some reason, maybe the coral feals threathend, maybe the corals doesn't like to be stung, it just gives up on life, keep in mind it doesn't always happen and the best remedy when it spreads quickly is to frag it, good luck amigo
