I got this Monti about a month and half ago.Bright blue and nice.
I had it on bottom of tank but noticed some white spots developing after a month. With that I moved it to mid level. Now its basically shedding and not going to last long.
Lighting is AI Sol's running at 75%.
Cal 430, Alk 8.5,Mag 1230
Not under any direct flow but tank has plenty.
Too much light? not enough light?
Any ideas welcome

Bali Aquaculture, They tend to be tough to keep for long, and require very high light to maintain any color.

has you alk been stable?? usually alk shift or very high calcium will cause some montis to show spots like that

That is Montipora molllis. Out of all my SPS M.mollis would be the first to react to an alkalinity shift. This coral is a good alk alarm. Are you doing? Calcium Reactor? Was there anything you may have done to cause an alk shift?

I am trying to set up my reactor.Iwas running limewater but alk was getting very high 9.5.So I stopped dosing several days ago.Waiting for Alk to come down to about 8 before getting calcium reacter online.
I just moved higher up again.
Is this guy done?
