Here are a few good pics of Montipora's
I had a the Monti bug last year pretty bad so now it is just time for them to grow. I recently sold all the nice monti caps just because the space they were taking up. They got a much larger and nicer home so I was happy to let them go. This is in a 125 gallon but they were moved to a 1000 gallon reef

Anyway here are some pics

Montipora Hispia

A little later, I now have two this size, a good grower for sure
Newpics2006004.jpg

A different rainbow monti, Not sure if this one is going to branch or encrust, needs a few months to see
July2006021-1.jpg

Red montipora Nodusa?? Not sure yet
Newpics036.jpg

A different red encrusting montipora, I am holding this one for a friend while he is moving
July2006003.jpg

a yellow with blue poylp cap I kept this one, but it needs some work to get the colors right, here is when I got it
100_4137.jpg

A few months later, I think it needs very high light to keep the base lightly colored up, but it grows too quick for me to give it that in my new tank set, May need to move it to another tank
Newpics2006013-1.jpg

And lastly a older FTS, to see how cramped all this was
May092006052.jpg

Now I have moved up to a 220 gallon in-wall with less montipora caps and more encrusting and branching types.
This pic is horrible but it will look much better than the old tank in a year
